  1. have you considered using a cheap ch559 microcontroller instead of a both the Arduino an the USB hub?
    its 5v so any unused pins could be used to emulate cartridge, user or cassette port.

    1. Hi, I used an Arduino as i’m not a programmer, or an electronics guy – those days were over 20 years ago back in University!
      The Arduino has a lot of information out there and hand holding, which was needed, i’m slowly figuring it all out. I am looking at alternate micros to see if I can further expand the feature sets. Thanks for the suggestion , if you have any keyboard examples for it, please send them over
