First batch of 15 kits shipped!
Postage on most was actually slightly cheaper than last time! But the two heaviest ones were more, the largest one was quite a bit more than anticipated…so it all averaged out ok…
One repeat customer has a couple of freebies, only one assembled this time!
Also my first ever customer finally will have a spare kit and some stuff to practice with 🙂
Next small batch is coming as soon as the 20cm USB cables arrive.
If you want a kit without the short, tidy looking USB cables then shout and I’ll do a small discount 🙂
I would like a kit please. 🙂

Are these kits available Pre-Assembled, so all I have to do is put it inside the case?
Also, wouldn’t it be easier to put these kits up on ebay or etsy? Or is that too much of a nightmare to deal with.

Hi,
I have been assembling kits, but they take nearly 3 hours each so I’ve been adding a ‘wage’ to the base price which pretty much doubles the cost.
After that, you’d still need to make your own keycaps by butchering your own keyboard plastics.
As for the Etsy/ eBay, that’s a plan, but I’d need to have a keycap option to allow that to happen .
selling on Etsy/tindie is great, but the kits are a little complex as-is.
Once I can offer resin printed keycaps, the kit will be complete and then I’ll be confident enough to offer them on a more mainstream site.
As for just putting it inside the case…
Yes. BUT, you’d need to have a USB cable looping out of your case and into one of the USB sockets.
You’d either remove the rectangular plastic black piece on the side, or drill a hole in it, or the case.
If you chose to solder onto the mini’s USB port (t he invisible mod) then you don’t need that looping cable 🙂
