Well, as i’m thinking ahead for a change and have purchased some glow in the dark filament
I’ve now discovered that the stuff is quite abrasive and I really should be thinking about getting some spare nozzles
A quick search for ‘replacement nozzles’ and….err
There’s a bajillion ones! from the Fantastic looking High end olson Ruby that’s the better part of a hundred quid
…To the amazingly low end ebay specials that are ten for 3 Quid…….
I could spend a day googling!, there’s Micro swiss hot ends and steel ones
What exactly is better!, what do I need?
Turns out, it’s an MK10 or MK11 nozzle and an M7 thread!
One slight difference with the Wanhao’s – there’s a PTFE tube that can perish over time….
2 Nozzles for Eight quid from this place on eBay..
Or
2 for Seven Quid (plus some post)
if you’re like me and can’t buy just one thing from one place, go direct to their website and chuck a few things in your cart to save a little, and save them some of the fees….
Of course, there’s the obligatory slow boat stuff from – insert chinese vendor here –
I’m going UK for these new nozzles, provided I can figure out what else to shove in the cart!
